Lyle G. Wall age, 66 of Eastman, WI passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at home surrounded by his family following a courageous 3-year battle with ALS. He was born in Prairie du Chien on May 19, 1957, the son of August and Isabel (Duha) Wall. Lyle grew up on Wall Ridge, helping his father on the farm and with the horses. He enjoyed traveling with his father and brother Paul, taking horse rings to local fairs in the area. Lyle married Robin Bunts and they raised two children together. Lyle built bridges in Wyoming before moving back to Wisconsin, where he worked at Midwest Silo in Boscobel, WI. He then worked with Pellock Construction before going to work for Johnson’s One Stop in Seneca, WI for the next 13 years. Most recently, he worked with Pellock Construction until retirement. Lyle enjoyed playing softball, spending many nights with friends at the diamond in Eastman. He was a horseman and enjoyed team roping and rodeos. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, and tinkering with tractors with his grandchildren. Lyle started a tack shop at home with his daughter Amber. He loved his family and friends and would have done anything for them. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Robin; their children Augustin (Mary) Wall and Amber (Nick) Lorenz; siblings Kathy Payne, Elaine Gillitzer, Donna (Bruce) Cornwell, Theresa (Al) Schuldt, Carl (Laurie) Wall, Judy Wall, and Earl (Angie) Wall; grandchildren Austin (Shyanne) Wall, Pilot Lorenz, Colten (Amber), Westen, Hunter, Gunner, and Isaac Wall; great-granddaughter Claire Wall, sister-in-law Deb Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Wall, and brother-in-law Norman Payne.
According to Lyle’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A celebration of Lyle’s life will be held at a later date.
