Margaret Lavonne (Boland) Laskaskie

M. Lavonne Laskaskie age 82 of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Seneca, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Prairie Maison Care Center.  She was born June 7, 1939, in LaCrosse, WI the daughter of Charles and Mary (Cain) Boland.  She married Robert Laskaskie on July 15, 1958, at St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca. They raised their family in Seneca and later moved to Prairie du Chien.  After retirement they enjoyed traveling up north, fishing and spending time with their children and grandchildren.  Robert preceded her in death on January 5, 2009. She is survived by her children, Michelle Laskaskie, Ron (Mari), Kathy (Lorin) Fish, Denise Hardin, Toni (Tom) Holloway and Mary (Torrey Kramer) Sime, her brothers, William (Floy) and Thomas (Fidelia) Boland, her grandchildren Beth (Nick) Leao, Heather and Megan Laskaskie, Becca (Justin) Henley, Tyler (Kelsey) Fish, Taylor Fish, Luke and Logan Hardin, Erin, Lindsey, Kwynn and Kaeli Sime and her great grandchildren Jacob, Emily, Brayden, Briggs, Benny and Carter.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son in law Rick Sime, brothers, John, Joseph and James Boland, sisters, Patricia Garvey, Mary Jeanne DuCharme, Geraldine Mezera and Eileen Boland.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seneca, WI, Rev. Thomas Huff officiating with interment in the church cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
