Marilyn J. (Lipke) Melcher

Marilyn J. Melcher, age 84 of Prairie du Chien passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. She was born December 25, 1935 in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Hugo and Rosalie (Weighner) Lipke. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1953. She worked and managed for Holiday Stationstores for 30 years. Marilyn took great pride in raising her children and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren any time the opportunity arose.

She is survived by her husband Harvey; her daughter Tammy (Van) Jacobson; her sister Beverly Ackley; and her grandchildren Heather, Devan, and Dawson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters Trina and Tonya; and her grandchild Rosalie.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, WI, with Pastor Miranda Klosterboer officiating.
