Mark Allen Merkousko

Mark A. Merkousko age 68 of Prairie du Chien passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Crossing Rivers Health.  He was born March 28, 1956 in Chicago, IL the son of Lawrence “Dyke” and Barbara (Junge) Merkousko.  Mark married Wendy Buzard on July 8, 2002, in Delaware, OH.  He worked in construction as a master plasterer and also as a truck driver.  He is survived by his wife Wendy, a son Kalon (Manuela) Mitchell, a brother Larry (Sherri), two sisters, Amy Weiser, and Beth (Mark) Pessin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Lauri Edwards and his beloved nephew Matthew.

According to Mark’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.  A Celebration of Mark’s life is being planned for a future date.
