Michael James Reising

Michael J. Reising, age 67 of Wauzeka, WI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, October 12, 2023. He was born in Harvard, IL on April 12, 1956, the son of James and Dorothy (Weidner) Reising. Michael grew up in Harvard before moving with his family to Wauzeka, where he graduated high school with the class of 1974. After school, he worked various jobs including farming in Wauzeka to 3M in Prairie du Chien where he worked until retirement. Michael met Edna Adam and they lived happily together in Wauzeka for many years. Together, they enjoyed camping on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. After retirement, Michael enjoyed tinkering around his home and yard, always making sure the bird feeders were well stocked. Michael’s partner Edna preceded him in death on April 3, 2019. He is survived by his siblings Lori, Lynn (Gary) Reising, Karen (Duane) Timm, Matthew, and Eric Reising; sister-in-law Karen Reising; stepchildren Shaina (Brooks) Kruger, Marty (Jessica Greve) Adam, and Kandi (Jonathan) Wiegmann; his grandchildren Cayden, Michael, Kayden, Amberlynn, and Mallory; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marc.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Century Hall in Wauzeka, WI.
