Patrick J. Lorenz Sr. age 81 of Prairie du Chien passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Great River Care Center. He was born June 22, 1941, in Lancaster, WI the son of Max and Margaret (Adams) Lorenz Sr. He married Catherine “Kay” Feally on September 12, 1959, at St. Gabriel’s Church in Prairie du Chien. Pat retired from 3M Company in Prairie du Chien as a Supervisor of shipping and receiving after 31 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid boater. Pat was a huge Elvis Presley fan and was known to impersonate “The King”. He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Kay, his children Patrick (Donna) Jr., Scott (Jeanna), Julie (Jake Allert) Lorenz, Tammy (Dennis) Zee and Linda (Vince) Hamilton, his brothers, James (Usa) and Daniel (Rose), his sister Mary (Larry) Duncan, a sister-in-law Judy Lorenz, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Max Jr., a sister Sally Lickle and a grandson Brandon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating with burial in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, from 10:00 AM until the time of departure for the church at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
