Paula C. Gutzmer

Paula C. Gutzmer, age 67 of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in St. Paul, MN on June 17, 1955, the daughter of Walter and Beverly (Bade) Gutzmer.  Paula is survived by her sisters, Gail (Larry) Lattea and their son: Daniel; Barbara Gutzmer, Mary (Mike) Tieszen and their children: Carter and Ellie, Paula’s beloved pets: Sweetie and Louise, and a special friend: K9 Phoenix.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a beloved pet therapist dog Maggie who served with Paula.

A Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel.  Donations or memorials can be made to the Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter in Prairie du Chien, WI.  Paula’s family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the staff of Crossing Rivers Health, Crossing Rivers Hospice Department, and her close and special friends for the compassionate care given to Paula and her family.
