Phyllis Margaret (Sprosty) Olson

Phyllis M. Olson age 81 of Seneca, WI passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL.  She was born in Prairie du Chien, WI on February 22, 1943, the daughter of Charles and Julia (Klema) Sprosty. She married Thomas Olson on February 1, 1964, in La Crosse, WI.  Together they had four children: Kathryn (Keith) Dalsing, Christopher (Tammy) Olson, Marcia (Kevin) Kvigne, and Sara (Dean) Adelman; ten grandchildren: Beth (Austin Benge) Dalsing, Carson, and Graham Dalsing, Benjamin (Courtney) Olson, and Abigail (Steven) Heisserer, Briana (Alex) Dalziel, and Nick Kvigne, and Seth (Abby Althaus) Nathan and Parker Adelman. two great grandchildren Callie Heisserer and Cooper Olson.  Phyllis and Tom were dairy farmers until 1998. While still farming they founded, owned, and operated Olson Feed Service until their retirement in 2012. Phyllis and Tom enjoyed many travel adventures all over the world. Phyllis’s husband Tom preceded her in death on February 22, 2020, after 56 years of marriage. Phyllis is survived by her siblings John (Marlene) Sprosty, Mary Sue (Larry) Booher, and William Sprosty as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Martin and Joseph Sprosty.

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seneca, Fr. Thomas Huff officiating, with inurnment in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the Mass on Monday.
