Raymond G. Tippery

Raymond G. Tippery age 92 of Prairie du Chien passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Crossing Healthcare.  He was born June 29, 1927 inn Prairie du Chien, the son of William and Mettie (Benson) Tippery.  Ray served in the US Navy during WW II.  He owned and operated the Swing Inn in Ferryville.  He later owned Travel Mat in Prairie du Chien and after this he was a distributor for Tippery Paper Products.  He was an active member of the Lions Club, the Eagles Club and was a 50 year member of the Prairie du Chien Masonic Lodge.  Ray is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Lester and Alden, his sisters, Mildred Hjelle, Gladys Spiker, Dorothy Linzenmeyer, Lillian Wiepert and Eva Pitzer.

Interment with military honors by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2020 in the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, WI. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
