Richard Dean “Rick” Peterson, 72, of Prairie du Chien, WI formerly of Boscobel, WI passed away at home on April 25th, 2025. Rick was a loving husband, devoted father, and a truly special friend. Some of Rick’s fondest memories came from taking groups of area high school students to the Lion’s Camp in Rosholt, WI. Rick was an avid golfer and enjoyed coaching the Prairie du Chien Boys’ and Girls’ High School golf teams. Rick enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing cards and telling stories. Rick was never afraid to enter a door without knocking. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Randy, Sister-in-law Audrey, close cousins Gary and Jerry, as well as other family members.
