Rick A. Bartels

Rick A. Bartels, 68 of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 in Prairie du Chien Wisconsin. Rick was retired. For years Rick worked construction and was the owner of Prime Time Sports Bar. Many good times were had there.  He spent most of his time on his deck in Prairie and as he would call it “Reflecting”. Rick loved to fish with his friends, at one time he started turtling. “AKA catching turtles.” He had lots of stories about the Great Mississippi. Everyone knew how much he lovedhis Prairie Family.  He will be missed my many….

He is survived by his father Russell and his loving mother Mary; Children Jason (Kelly) Bartels, Jamie Bartels (Jeff), Chris (Crystal) Bartels, Jenny (Daryl) Bulle, and Sarah Bartels: Sisters Wendy Bertelli, Debbie (Kirk) Knickerbocker, brother Scott Bartels, Kathy Krantz, Patty Paten, Wanda Lawrence. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his loving Mother Sallie and Sister Becky Bartels.
