Robert L. Bruckner

Robert L. Bruckner age 90 of Wauzeka passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI.  He was born September 23, 1930 in Prairie du Chien, WI, the son of Frank and Flora (Shaw) Bruckner.  He served in the US Army and later married Joann Fishler on November 22, 1955 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Patch Grove, WI.  He farmed in rural Wauzeka on Dutch Ridge. He is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Joann, his son Lee, his daughter Carol (Robert) Steiger along with his grandsons, Lee and Robert Steiger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, John, Frank, Lloyd and Richard along with his sisters, Flora Barker, Emma Messerli and Violet Biederman.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating with burial in the Dutch Ridge Cemetery in Wauzeka.  Military honors will be accorded graveside by the Seeley-Onstine American Legion Post 458. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
