Robert F. “Bob” Dickson, age 95 of Eastman passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Great River Care Center in McGregor, IA. He was born on August 8, 1928, the son of William and Ada (Lawler) Dickson. Upon moving to Crawford County, he farmed in the Eastman area for many years. Bob married Beverly Dade on December 27, 1969, in Lyons, IL. Together, they were active members of the Falling Rock Walleye Club. Bob owned and operated the Dickson Boat Dock near Lynxville, WI. He was a member of the Eastman Fire Department and the Eagles Club #1502 in Prairie du Chien. He enjoyed spending time at the Falling Rock Campground and socializing with neighbors, becoming affectionately known as “Old Bob”. Bob loved watching Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers games with friends in and around the campground. He also enjoyed cutting wood and spending time outdoors. Bob’s wife Beverly preceded him in death on December 29, 1999. He is survived by 2 daughters Vicki Nasarian and Nancy Forsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, son John Dickson, and his siblings.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 12:00 P.M to 3:00 P.M. at Mitchell’s Liquor Box Tavern and Tackle in Eastman, WI. Inurnment will be held in the Dickson Ridge Cemetery in Lynxville, WI prior to the celebration of life at 11:00 A.M.
