Ronald James Becwar

Ronald J. Becwar, age 66 of Prairie du Chien passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel, WI. He was born in Prairie du Chien on June 22, 1957, the son of Albert and Mary Janell (Wachuta) Becwar. Ronald graduated from Prairie du Chien High School with the class of 1975.  He loved dogs, especially his dog, Benji.  He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan (sorry Packer fans).

He is survived by his sister, Diane (Mark) Jensen; a niece: Rebecca Honstein; nephews: Daniel, Adam, Aaron, and Jordan Jensen; and multiple cousins and extended family.  Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Doll officiating, burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien.  Friends may call the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
