Obituary

Samuel David Pellock, 32 of Prairie du Chien passed away on May 8th, 2023, peacefully in his home.  He was born August 9th, 1990, the son of Steve and Amy Pellock.  Upon graduation from Prairie High School, he worked as a union operating engineer for various firms in Iowa and Wisconsin running heavy equipment.  Sam loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, and collecting sheds.  His close friends and family were the focal point of his life.  His generosity to others was unmatched, always willing to help a friend in need.  He was also an excellent carpenter when he worked with his grandfather building many pieces of fine furniture.

Sam is survived by his parents, Steve and Amy (Skemp) Pellock, His siblings Bryce (Lena) Pellock and Lacey Kapinus, his grandmother Mary Pellock, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother Steven Pellock and his grandparents Roger Pellock and Dave and Joni Skemp.  No formal services are scheduled.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.
