Sharon A. (Sullivan) Clausen

Sharon A. Clausen age 75 of Lynxville passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Crossing Rivers Healthcare in Prairie du Chien, WI.  She was born June 8, 1943 in Seneca, WI the daughter of Donald and Bernice (Dagnon) Sullivan.  She married her best friend and husband of 56 years, Harold “Pork” Clausen on December 1, 1962 in Seneca.  Sharon worked as a cashier in her early years and as a secretary for Seneca High School, before her retirement.  She loved to garden and was a wonderful cook.  She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and family gatherings around the holidays.  She is survived by her husband, Pork Clausen of Lynxville, her children, Jeff (Amy) of Prairie du Chien, Julie (Frank) Arado and Joni Clausen both of Lynxville, her brothers John (Linda) Sullivan of Texas and Donnie (Jane) Sullivan of Illinois, her sister Mary (Dennis) Rooney of Steuben, WI, five grandchildren, Chase Clausen, Frankie (Kortney) Arado, Allie (Zach) Thornton, Tanner Clausen, Brady Fernette and one great grandchild she adored, Hank Thornton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jim Sullivan and a sister Luanne Sullivan.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2:30 PM at the Lynxville Community Building.  Friends may call there on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
