Susan A. Ludvik, age 76 of Monona, IA passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI. She married Joseph Ludvik Jr. in Monona, IA on January 29, 1972. She worked alongside Joe repairing, body work/painting and selling used cars and trucks. They also restored antique cars and trucks which lead her to forty plus years upholstery car, tractor and boat seats and other like projects. In Sue’s retirement years she enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bar bingo with her many friends old and new. She was a member and active participant in the Bridgeport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Bridgeport First Responders, Bridgeport Election Board, and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Women’s Group. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Gress, Onalaska, WI; her sister Diane Doerring, Luana, IA her cousin Dave (Deb) Walz , Prairie du Chien, WI sisters-in-law Nancy Blong, SD and Bonnie (Butch) Schwarz Boydtown, WI; her brother-in-law Randy (Amy) Ludvik, Prairie du Chien, WI; son-in-law Marse Villa, Guttenberg, IA; her grandchildren Lindsey (Brett) Davis, Levi Wilker, Kyle (Megan Korbelik) Wilker, Cody Simons, and Macy Jones; her great-grandchildren Storm Morarend and Asher Davis; Willow (special rockin’-in-the-car buddy), and many nieces and nephews
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pastor Hillary Burns-Kite officiating with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Rural Bridgeport & Prairie du Chien Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders.
