Terry Howard Kazda

Terry H. Kazda, age 74 of Prairie du Chien, formerly of Wauzeka, WI, passed away Monday November 6, 2023, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 7, 1949, the son of Harry and June (Kinder) Kazda. Terry was born and raised in Wauzeka and enjoyed being part of the local community. Terry was an active member of the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien for over 50 years.  He treasured his many friends he met through the Opportunity Center.  Over the past 14 years, Terry was a part of Lori Knapp Companies in Prairie du Chien and lived at the Meadow Lane Group Home. During this time, he developed a special bond with those around him, and they became his second family.  Over the years, Terry enjoyed his time at the Wisconsin Badger Camps, bowling, fishing trips with family, camping, and pulling the occasional prank on his friends and family. He particularly enjoyed Peterbilt semi-trucks and his hats. Terry is survived by his siblings Carol DuCharme, Donnie (Kay) Kazda, and Kenny (Rhonda) Kazda; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dick Kazda.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien with inurnment at the Wauzeka Cemetery in Wauzeka, WI.
