Thomas Kirschbaum

Thomas Kirschbaum age 85 of Prairie du Chien, passed away on Friday September 30, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society in Waukon, IA. He was born on October 10, 1936, in Chicago, IL the son of Madonna (Kirschbaum) Mielke.  He graduated from Monona High School in 1954.  At the age of 17, Thomas went on to serve in the United States Air Force for thirty years until his retirement. He relocated to Prairie du Chien, WI from Panama City, FL in October of 2018 when hurricane Michael destroyed everything he owned. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Andrews on August 18, 1961, who preceded him in death on December 26, 2004.  On May 24, 1964, their only child, Francis "Frank" Kirschbaum was born.  Frank preceded him in death on September 9, 2001. He is survived by his half-brothers Dean and Wayne (Sheryl) Mielke, a half-sister Sandy (Jerry) Thornton, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Thomas is also preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

According to Thomas' wishes there will be no formal funeral services held at this time.
