It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tyler John Ehlen, known as simply "TJ" to most, on May 15, 2023. Born on September 13, 1992, TJ made a lasting impact on the lives of many with his stoic, kindhearted, stubborn, passionate, and protective personality.
TJ is survived by his loving family: mother Monalisa Ehlen-Lyons; step-father Larry Lyons; father Tim Ehlen; step-mother Mariz Jurane Ehlen; sister Tiffany Ehlen; nephew Atlas Ehlen-Evora; sister Monica Ehlen; brother-in-law Tom Morrow; nephews Rocco, Brick, and Flip Morrow . He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Shirley Ann (Walters) Ehlen and his maternal grandfather Eulogio "Leo" Almorato.
During his life, TJ shared valuable lessons with those around him, such as putting others before oneself and overcoming one's fears. He was a proud and loving uncle, son, brother, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched, as someone who would give the shirt off his own back if it meant helping another.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of/tyler-ehlen/donate/
TJ's memory will be cherished by all those who had the fortune to know him, and his indomitable spirit will continue to inspire and guide us as we carry on without him. Rest in peace, TJ.
