Wilma Wanda Wagner

Wilma W. Wagner, age 99 of Soldier’s Grove, WI formerly of Prairie du Chien, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Soldier’s Grove Health Services. She was born September 28, 1924, to Henry and Delphina (DuCharme) Wagner. She grew up in Eastman where she enjoyed tennis, golf, and bowling. She began a career as a general secretary, working in Madison, WI, Chicago, IL, and Florida until retirement. She returned to Crawford County in 2002 to be closer to family. Upon moving to Prairie du Chien, she met many dear friends at the Blackhawk Apartments. Wilma was a devout woman who cherished her Catholic faith and the power of prayer. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers Aelred, Karl, Willard, Harold, and Melvin; and 4 sisters Hilda Dombeck, Agnes Doll, Marie Halleran, and Marjorie Doll. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman, WI, Rev. Chinnappan Pelavendran officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass. Wilma’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Fr. Huff, Fr. Chinnappan, and the staff at Soldier’s Grove Health Services for their kind and devoted care.
