Aunt Eileen was the ultimate mother, wife and homemaker. She devoted her life to her family. I have so many fond memories staying at their house in Cumberland swimming, sledding, raking and playing in the leaves, catching fireflies, boating on the lake, playing outside in the dark, walking to the corner store and just hanging out with the Jerde kids. I always felt welcome and cared for by Eileen. Even doing the dishes was fun! Even with 6 kids and cousins running around her house was always clean! I will miss you Eileen.

Aunt Eileen was the best. She was always happy to see us and I loved sitting at her kitchen table in the morning and having toast with jam. I have so many fond memories of Eileen and Ingle. One of my favorite memories is when we spent Easter in Cumblerland and we had an Easter egg hunt at the their home on the lake. They hid the eggs in such unusual places. I also developed my love of playing card games with them, always a fun time with lots of laughter. She will be greatly missed.
