Eugene C. Caylor age 80 of Prairie du Chien passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Crossing Rivers Hospital in Prairie du Chien.  He was born September 1, 1936 in Steubenville, OH the son of Charles and Margaret (Held) Caylor. Gene served in the US Army Reseerves for over 14 years.  He was married Carolyn McFarling who later preceded him in death on July 25, 2005.  He worked for John Morel and later for Oscar Mayer Meats until his retirement.  He enjoyed his retirement years in the Bagley, WI area.  Gene was a past member of the Masonic Lodge.  He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (David) Marini of Andover, MA, his son Ray Caylor of Belmont, WI, his sister Judy Caylor of California, his grandchildren Marcus, Morgan and Brady.

A graveside service will be held later in the Bagley Cemetery in Bagley, WI.
