I learned of Gary's passing during the Christmas service at Church. I asked because no one was operating the Powerpoint presentation for the service. So, I offer my sincere condolences, as belated they are. What a very kind man, and a good referee, too. Chris Dyer

Sorry to hear the news of Gary's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Prairie du Chien High school for many years. We taught in adjacent classrooms so there were many times we would chat during and after a busy or trying day. Gary always had a positive outlook. Gary was also a wonderful guide at the Villa Louis and worked well with other staff members. I will miss seeing him when I go into Coaches Restaurant.

Mary Don and family, I was so saddened to learn of Gary's illness and death. He was in my humble estimation, someone who was a loyal community servant. His career reflects how he was focused on others needs and not his own self-interest. I especially enjoyed working on summer break at the Villa Louis with Gary. He, Terri C. and I were the "mature" guides surrounded by all of those college and high school kids. Oh, what fun it was trying to stay cool in the guides little room off the summer kitchen in days before the restoration of the house.
Gary now faces his restoration as he comes face to face with our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Blessings to all of you.
A friend in Christ,
Luanne Neumann

My heartfelt condolences for the entire family. Gary was not only a teacher of mine, but someone I admired attending the UMC growing up. It won't be the same visiting UMC whenever I'm back home with him not there and trust everyone there is surrounding you with love and support.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Olson's passing. He taught me typing in high school. Maybe I should say he TRIED to teach me typing. I am still a 2 finger typer. May you find comfort knowing he touched many lives and is thought of fondly.
