People will miss meeting Loyde on the road and getting a big "thumbs up" over the steering wheel from him!
He showed family, friends, and the community how to live large in a humble way -- work hard, help others, and have a little fun doing it.
When we told our sons of Loyde's passing, one of the responses was "That sucks. He was a good man." That pretty much sums it up.
From our family to yours... love and hugs and many wonderful memories together.

Loyde holds a special place in the hearts of the Klema girls. He was a great bus driver to us .One of my favorite memories of Loyde is when he use to play trumpet at the church picnic. The stage was a wagon and my sisters and I got do the twist on the wagon while he played with the band.
Speaking for my sisters and myself, we extend our sympathy to the Beers family.

To the Beers Family,
On behalf of the Fred & Ann Loken family we extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. There was only one Loyde in the world! We so enjoyed the trips he and Pat would make to stop in and visit.
Loyde was one of the few that was able to stay a few steps ahead of Freddy Bear!
The good Lord has certainly gained one of the best! The best at storytelling, quick with a joke and a smile - but most of all the best at making everyone feel welcome! Loyde never left anyone out.
God Bless,
Fred Loken (Mineral Point) and the entire Loken Family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Beers family.
Lloyde always had time for others. My parents always looked forward to his visits, they laughed and told great stories of the past, then he would leave them lottery tickets.
He could make a bad day better with a joke, a smile and a wink. When my cousin and I were little girls he called us Renee from Green Bay and Natalie Wood. We would giggle.
Rest in peace Lloyde, we will miss you and your amazing gifts.

My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and all the kids. They have lost a wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle and friend. He was so many peoples friend and quite the comedian. I believe Lloyd was The Heart of Eastman in so many ways. He was always so worried about everyone else and how he could help them. There will be a Huge Void, in the lives of everyone who knew Lloyd Beers, he is a man who may be gone but never forgotten. Rest in peace

My thoughts and prayers go out to pasty and the family. Loyde was one hell of a guy who will never be forgotten. The jokes and laughs and he always had time for me to share those with. The stories he told when i interviewed him for a highschool project and the time he was my strength and gave me positive influence during my cancer. He told me I would be fine and the cancer we shared said cant take a couple good ole Eastman boys like us. He was right. I will miss Loyde. But he is at peace and he will still be watching down on you all. RIP Loyde and God bless the family during this time of sadness!
