Roger C. Granzow age 88 of Eastman passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born November 29, 1929 in Prairie du Chien, WI the son of Charles and Bernice (George) Granzow. He married Lorraine Lee on December 29, 1951 and the two moved to the farm in Eastman, which they called home for 65 years. Roger was a quiet, honest man who enjoyed snowmobiling, roller skating and square dancing. He was a dedicated farmer who loved his tractor, truck and riding lawnmower. Anyone that knew our dad, knew that he was the most honorable, loyal and hard-working man around. He loved his family, and took great pride in his farm. Lorraine preceded him in death on October 29, 2014. He is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Trentin of Eastman, Pam (Ron) Lawrence of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Renee (Ramon) Aspenson of Onalaska, WI; six grandchildren, Dax, Kristin, Chad, Greg, Alexandra and Jordan; eight great-grandchildren, Cayson, Caitlyn, Knox, Kruse, Lilah, Amelia, Sydney and Luke. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a granddaughter Kiley Aspenson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Rev. Lynn Schreck officiating, with burial in the National Cemetery in Eastman. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
